Scripting for Compliance

If this isn't possible, I will add it to the feature request, but....

Is it possible to use scripts within the compliance rules? I can't find any way straight out of the box, but I was wondering if there was a hack to do it.

Use Case: Large organization with many branch offices all under the same Orion umbrella. Branch office admins have full control over the devices at their site, which leads to varying degress of what I like to call "compliance drift" .  We currently perform Branch office network audits using NCM however, it is not as robust as we would like because of all the variables within each site. I really really really do not want to create unique rules for each site... really really really.

I would like to have the ability to read in information from the device (show commands/config) and use that information as variables to in order to check compliance.

Any thoughts?
