Hello everyone!
I'm trying to get my Cisco ASA 5520 to send real-time change detection notifications/emails, looked at forums and looked online but no luck . I see that it downloads the config if there are changes overnight and i see them listed under "Config List" & "Last 5 Config Changes" but the real time changes won't work. The device passes all tests for CLI access / snmp.
Things I've done:
-Went to Syslog Server Settings and created a new ASA Rule with:
Syslog Message Pattern: *end configuration*,*Begin configuration.*reading from http [POST]*
Left Message Type Pattern to: *
-Changed the device template for my CIsco ASA 5520 to Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance
Checked my ASA:
logging enable
logging timestamp
logging host inside 10.***.***.***
logging facility 23 (local 7)
logging buffer-size 1048576
logging trap notifications
logging asdm informational
Current ASA Version:
Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software Version 9.1(7)23
Device Manager Version 7.9(1)
Has anyone got the RTCD to work on their ASA's?
